STABLE Account Presentation

The Ohio Treasurer's office will present a free presentation about Ohio's new STABLE account program at the Longview Training Center, 1495 W. Longview Ave., Mansfield.  The event is open to individuals, families, payees, guardians, community members, and Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities staff.  RSVP to 419-774-4345.

 STABLE accounts allow people with disabilities to save and invest money without losing eligibility for certain public benefit programs, such as Medicaid, SSI, or SSDI.  Earnings in a STABLE account are not subject to federal income tax as long as they are spent on qualifying purchases.
