Be an Athlete
All Athletes MUST have a current medical on file through our local office. This does require athletes to visit a doctor for the required physical and ALL forms must be completed and returned to the local coordinator before the athlete can play. These medical forms are good for three years and you will be notified when your current medical is about to expire.

Richland County Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization under the Ohio State Special Olympics program. We are run completely by volunteers to provide coaching, unified partnerships, and organization to the program. We provide athletes with opportunities to participate in sports all year with little to no cost to the athletes. All donations are used to support athletes in their local, state, and national participation in games and events. We purchase uniforms, equipment, facility usage, and fund stay for state and national games for our athletes. Every little bit helps us continue to grow and support more athletes across Richland County. We appreciate your support of our athletes and our program!
