In 1952, a group of parents was brought together with a common interest of developing a program that would help children with unique needs. Since then, that aspiration has built a foundation for the Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities (RCBDD) in the community. We continuously work to develop services and supports to help those who need it.
RCBDD, formed in 1967, has helped thousands of individuals and families get the supports needed to live as independently as possible. People have found security and peace of mind and, most importantly, a shoulder to lean on.
We’ve come a long way as services have evolved over the years, and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon. We’re always working to create a stronger impact on the lives of others. Let us find the help you need today.
