We’ll kick things off February 27 when the Richland County commissioners present the first of 10 proclamations we’ll be receiving through March.
Our 1st annual Awareness Bowling Event takes place March 4 at Lex Lanes. The event involves students from Richland County schools and public officials.
Newhope will hold its 19th Annual Community Awareness Day on March 12. The 30 members of the current class of Leadership Unlimited will visit various locations that provide supports for people with developmental disabilities in Richland County.
The agency will have a booth at the 15th Annual Chamber Business Expo set for March 19 at the Richland County Fairgrounds. This event runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and is open to the public. The booth will also be part of Business After Hours on March 18.
Our 3rd Annual ‘Step into Spring’ – a free, fun walk – will take place at the Richland Mall on March 27. This is being held in conjunction with the mall, Richland Public Health, Richland County Children Services, and the Mansfield Y. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with the walk starting around 10:30 a.m. The first 100 people to sign in will get a goodie bag.
