Description

Shift differential of $2.00 on the weekends. 

Current vacancy for full-time 2nd shift Direct Support Professional (DSP) position in the Residential Department. The DSP is responsible for providing supports including direct personal care, supervision and assistance with implementation of goals to adults with developmental disabilities who reside at The Raintree or a Group Home. The DSP works in cooperation with other staff to assist in medical services and to maintain a clean & healthy living environment. The DSP is responsible for maintaining records & and may perform other related duties.

Requirements

Requires High School Diploma or GED. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, position, and transfer. Valid Ohio Driver's License and Auto Insurance for group home setting. Ohio Driver's License and Auto Insurance or State ID for Raintree. Must be available to work additional hours when necessary. May be required to work in more than one home. Required to undergo physical examination, drug test, TB test, and criminal background check including fingerprints.

Certification

Employees on all shifts must maintain First Aid and CPR certification on an ongoing basis. TB testing will be required annually. Must obtain Delegated Nursing I & II certification to work in the Group Homes. Training provided at no cost to employee. Employee receives hourly rate to attend training.
